Partnerships

In order to amplify the voice and platforms to influence policy, it is necessary to build alliances.

EFANet has built a wide range of networks and a variety of partnerships at the local, national, regional and international levels. Such strategic partnerships are with a variety of grassroots organisations through EFANet’s Regional Chapters, the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE), the National Assembly, other CSOs, and national and international NGOs.  EFANet is a member of the Africa Network Campaign on Education For All Campaign (ANCEFA) and the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) Movement.

These partnerships have resulted in the harnessing of energies and resources to achieve a common vision and mission. Through these partnerships, the right to education is being sought through the rights based approach coupled with a pro-poor, gender responsive and inclusive education policies, programmes and activities.

However, there is need for increased resource mobilization, strengthened communication and awareness raising on the right to education among the public; build capacities of its members and communities to ensure good governance and effective policy engagement; and strengthen collaboration with other CSOs working towards the realization of the SDG’s.
